Fighting in the ground is very advantageous to the person using Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. With the series of choking techniques, and holds, it neutralizes their enemies’ strength.
This is because in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, skill is more important than strength. While it is true that strength is also important, it only accounts to about 30% while skill accounts for 70%.
The reason for this is because it will require a significant amount of strength to get out of a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu hold. Remember that BJJ is specialized in choking, joint locking and holding.
That’s why even bigger and stronger opponents go down against Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Rolling and various exercise can reduce a person’s stress.
Plus, exercises makes our brains stronger. It also releases feel good hormone in an individual.
Having a community and doing exercises is a scientifically proven way to improve a person’s will.
Jiu Jitsu can be therapeutic as the series of exercises are actually good to relieve stress and release feel good hormones.
6. Jiu Jitsu is made for Competitions
Jiu Jitsu is one of the best martial art for competition. And we can’t disagree that winning feels awesome.
Some people who practice Jiu Jitsu are having fun on competitions because winning increases confidence and makes them happy.
Not all people are like that such as me, but there are people who do Jiu Jitsu because they love the thrill of competitions. If you are one of them, there is no reason to be ashamed of it.
Some people or martial artist even starts to learn Jiu Jitsu to make them better in fighting. In fact, most UFC champions have a black belt in Jiu Jitsu.
Some people who are still low ranked in Jiu Jitsu actually does it otherwise. They study to prevent their enemies from using Jiu Jitsu techniques on them.
That is how powerful this martial art is.

7. People Want to Relate to Jiu Jitsu in TV
